Your Bio

Hi. I'm Stassi - Stephanie Gans to some of you. I'm a Macintosh computer consultant, and I'm a Software Teacher. I'm also an Adobe Certified Instructor for Photoshop. I've been working with Photoshop for so long, I've been wanting to learn how to shoot pictures that don't need Photoshop to look good, so that's what the images in this site are meant to help me accomplish.

By the way, some of the older shots I'll post are from an Olympus C4000, but now I use a great Nikon D40, Nikkor 18-135, Nikkor 55-200VR, an old Nikkor 50mm f1.4 prime, and a few older Tamron zooms.

New Puppy : This is our new puppy. We finally decided on a name, based on my sister's recommendation. His name is Rusty. He's definitely got terrier in him, but I'm not sure what kind of terrier. Maybe chihuahua? And, people have been guessing Basenji and Shiba Inu as the mix. Anybody got any ideas?

Howl-oween 2011 : Pics from the Sepulveda Basin Dog Park's Howl-oween event. Unfortunately, the shade was NOT our friend for these photos - many came out quite blurry, due to the slow shutter speed. I did as much blur and color correction as I could. Please contact me via the email on the home page of this site, if there are any additional repairs I can try for you. Also - feel free to change the caption of the photos to reflect your, or your dog's name, and add any comments you'd like! Note: DON'T HIT "BUY" FOR ANY OF THESE IMAGES (unless you want Smugmug to send you a print)!!! To download images, hover over the image on the left of the screen. A little window will pop up in the corner and you can view the image at multiple sizes (I recommend Original, if you want to print), and then right click the popup image to save the image to your computer.
